Swap - adudldee ...

Thanks to my husband to- be who took our son out for a long walk I had some time to finish my parcels for the spring awakening swap with Püppilottchen. And since the weather was quite nice and sunny I was able to take some pics of it ... of course wrapped until Püppilottchen has got it ... otherwise it wouldn´t be a surprise no more.
But I´ll promise I´ll share the pics of the content as soon as she´s got it!

And now I have a huge qustion ...

Since we´r going to marry on the first of july I start to wonder what to weare for the wedding.
We´ve decided allready that we want to marry in a traditional austrian costume (Tracht) which means typical austrian leather knickerbockers for my man to-be and a dirndl for me ( and a little Lederhose for Moritz - so cute!!! ) ...
First I wanted to sew my weddingdress by myself (originally I wanted to crochet one but I abandoned this idea) ...
These were my components I wanted to make it of:

A dress from the fleamarket from the 6oties as a pattern

For the fabric I wanted to use a violet linen

To make it folklore like and more Dirndl I chosed some fake heart shaped horn buttos

And an old H&M bag

But nowI´m not that sure anymore ... should I just buy a traditional dirndl?
I tried some at a second hand store (here you get very pretty (old) ones quite cheap because nobody wears them in the city) but they where all much to big.
New ones are quite expensive and to which occassion should I weare it again?

At least I now which hairestyle I want to weare ...

But with braids in the back like those (without the flowers)




Any ideas?
Any suggestions?
